Booking Conditions
Bookings are valid solely for the season
in which they were booked.
If your situation requires that you can only participate
on a particular day, please check availability prior to
booking .
Rebookings require 5 working days notice.
Please do not ask to be rebooked outside of this time frame
as refusal may offend.
If you do not attend as booked, you will have to pay the
full amount as booked.
Tickets are fully transfereable. In case of inability to
participate due to illness or other reasons, please inform
us and please arrange for someone else to use your booking.
In general no tickets will be issued. If you require these
a fee of $7.50 per booking will apply

Cancellations
1 Bookings
Bookings made through our agents cannot
be cancelled. Cancellations will not be accepted on the
basis of no suitable dates being available Ie if you can
only participate on a particular day please check availability
prior to making a booking.
When booking via an agent you will have been informed of
terms & conditions prior to making the booking.
2 Tours
For your safety and convenience, we
reserve the right to cancel tours at short notice due to
adverse sea conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
Accordingly, we would need to notify you, so please leave
an after hours contact number when you book.
Safety of passengers is foremost so please forgive us if
a cancellation takes place. Conditions on land versus those
at sea can be most deceptive. We endeavour to inform participants
of such an event as early as possible beforehand. You are
welcome to call us at any time before a tour if you are
in doubt
In the event of a cancellation due to weather conditions
or other unforeseen circumstances there will be no charges
levied. You will be invited to join us on an alternate day.
Guarantees
Being a nature observation tour, we
regret we cannot guarantee you sightings of any particular
animal on any particular day.
Our success rate in spotting cetaceans over the past years
averages out at 90%
Your adventure out to sea is sure to be a rewarding one
with lots of interesting things to see.
Participation
Participants must be fit & well
and know of no reason why they should not undertake the
voyage . If in doubt please consult your doctor.
Children should be 8 years and over
What to bring
- Binoculars
- A small pair of good quality binoculars 8-10X magnification
is advised.
- Camera - There will be opportunities to photograph
birds at close range, although lenses up to 300mm or even
400mm are useful.
- Cetaceans can be both close & far away

Bring plenty of film or memory cards.

Warm and wet weather clothing,

A water/wind proof jacket for days
when there is a lot of spray.

Many also prefer to wear waterproof
footwear.

A hat and sunglasses are essential,
especially in summer

Food and drink.

Serve yourself tea, coffee and juice
are on board free of charge.

Sun Screen - Sun block (15+) even
in winter
- Information Books on Cetaceans and Birds - Bring your
own or available on board
If in doubt about your “sea
legs”, consult your doctor or pharmacist as to the
remedies available.
Remember you will be in the open ocean where the wave
height and swell will rarely be minimal.
Hints on how to help prevent seasickness
- Get a full night’s sleep the night before. A night
out on the town before the tour is not recommended.

Eat a hearty breakfast

Take remedies as directed –don’t
take extra just to be sure.

Stand up as much as possible
when on board and remain outside.

Look at the horizon, (It helps
control your balance).

Keep yourself busy observing
what is around.
- Eat solid foods such as biscuits and bread rolls while
on board.
