Save the Albatrosses

The populations of these birds are under threat world wide.

Discover the plight of the albatross for yourself.

Our own population of Wanderer’s located on sub Antarctic Macquarie Island has been reduced from 60 to 10 breeding pairs in just the past few years.

The longline fishing fleets have a lot to answer for.

Nature Watching

The waters off Sydney swarm with bountiful cetaceans & seabirds which can't be seen from land. Bottlenose and Risso Dolphins, Humpback, Minke, Pilot and enormous Southern Right Whales cruise alongside False Killer Whales, Blue Whales and Sperm Whales. The majestic endangered Wandering Albatross, King of Seabirds, with a 3 meter wingspan circles above beside the tiny elegant storm petrel.

Book Your Boxing Day Sydney to Hobart Cruise  

The start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race is one of the most spectacular days on the harbour. Onboard Halicat you can witness the Yachts preparing forthe race. At 1300hrs all hell breaks loose for the start.

Bring your own picnic and enjoy the festivities.

The Halicat is available for large single groups of up to 55 Passengers, or a combination of smaller groups.

Cost:
Adults $85 Concessions $75 Children (From 6 years $50)

Pick ups will take place at Mosman Bay and Rose Bay at approximately 10am and 10:30am

Cruise Duration approximately 4 - 5 Hrs (i.e. 10am - 2pm)

Pick up points at ferry wharves both on North side(Mosman Bay) 10.30AM and 5.00PM & South side(Rose Bay) side of harbour at 10.00AM and 4.30PM.
