Whale Watching 2007
May 27th 2007

June 30th 2007

Hal Epstein

Hal alias Captain Mal because of a one off misprint in the yellow pages.

Having smashed his ancient Pentax K1000 Hal went digital with a small Kodak toy and then graduated to the real thing with the purchase of a Nikon D100 in 2003.

From then on the D100 has been a constant companion both at sea and during travel both in Australia and overseas. Here are some of the better shots of all sorts of critters & places from north and south of the globe& some from the remoter places in Australia .

Owner & operator of the Sports Cat Halicat Hal pioneered whale watching off Sydney
having commenced whale watching tours in 1997.

Apart from the whale watching, many visitors & groups from overseas take part in the pelagic bird watching & nature watch tours out to the deep waters off Sydney in search of the various seabirds & cetaceans that can be seen there.

Thus the preponderance of whale & seabird photos

Enjoy! Photos can be used but should be acknowledged. For commercial use please enquire.
